Melton, KeithInternationally recognized intelligence historian, espionage expert, and specialist in clandestine technology and spy tradecraftA graduate of the United States Naval Academy, he has spent more than four decades working inside the hidden world of intelligence operations, covert technology and espionage history.
He is one of the founders of the International Spy Museum in Washington, D.C., and an author of many spy books including: The Ultimate Spy Book, Spy craft; The Spy’s Guide to Escape and Evasion and the Official CIA Manual of Trickery and Deception. He is also the author of more than 24 children’s books.
Melton has produced more than 65 spy documentaries and served as the technical advisor to The Americans, a Reagan-era spy drama television series, and Snowfall, a crime drama television series. Melton owns the largest collection of privately held spy artifacts.
