Why Volunteer with SILL

Volunteers play an essential role in helping SILL continue offering the Global Issues and Music Series that audiences have enjoyed for more than 55 years.

From welcoming guests at lectures to assisting behind the scenes, SILL volunteers help create engaging educational and cultural experiences throughout our community.

Whether you can help occasionally during events or contribute throughout the year, volunteers are an important part of the SILL community.

Volunteer Opportunities

Event Support
Assist with ushering, greeting guests, ticket sales, and event logistics during lectures and performances.
Administrative Support
Help with organization, communications, scheduling, and behind-the-scenes coordination.
Marketing & Outreach
Support publicity efforts, social media, community outreach, and audience engagement
Technical Support
Assist with creating and managing Constant Contact email campaigns, supporting website updates, and helping maintain SILL’s digital communications.
Special Events & Programming
Work alongside SILL Board members on programming, recruitment, and special initiatives.
