Blevins, JohnAdjunct Professor, Cornell Tech and the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.John Blevins specializes in emerging technologies that are disrupting traditional business models. He is an adjunct professor at Cornell Tech in New York City and the Johnson Graduate School of Management in Ithaca, New York, as well as a former adjunct at UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Information and the UCLA Anderson School of Management, including Faculty Director of the Technology Management Center and Faculty Director for the school’s executive and joint EMBA degree program with the National University of Singapore.
Blevins speaks at events addressing technology-driven market changes and technology management leadership. His career includes Deloitte Consulting, Microsoft, Oracle and Shell Oil, based in Houston, Dallas, New York, Miami, London, and Los Angeles, where he held various management roles. He is the founding principal of Navigation Pointe, a technology strategy advisory firm that provides consulting, strategy and business development, as well as board advisory services, including patent protection and executive management support.
He guides enterprises in their digital transformation, assists technology-oriented companies with monetization strategies, and advises venture capital/private equity firms in technology-related industry investments. John Blevins has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama, and a Master of Business Administration from UCLA Anderson.
