About Speaker
Dr. John Bruno is an Emeritus Distinguished Professor in the Departments of Psychology and Neuroscience at The Ohio State University. He received his B.S. degree in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh and his Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience from The Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Bruno retired from bench and clinical science in 2018 after 40 years of studying the relationship between changes in brain function and the emergence and treatment of several neuropsychiatric disorders, including Parkinson’s Disease, Schizophrenia, Depression, and Dementia.
Dr. Bruno has an international reputation, having served as the President of the International Behavioral Neuroscience Society and Chairperson of Ohio State’s Department of Psychology. He has collaborated with scientists across the globe; authoring over 200 peer-reviewed articles and editing three books. He continues to publish and consult in the Neuroscience space from his homes in Sarasota and Italy.
Dr. Bruno received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh and his Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University.
