Dave Bennett began his national touring career at the age of 14. He has been a featured soloist at Carnegie Hall with The New York Pops (2013). Dave is a recording artist on jazz label Mack Avenue Records. Dave has recently joined forces with guitarist/vocalist/pastor Tom Hampton for Dave’s first gospel recording “Coming Home.” This project has been a dream come true for both Dave and Tom and they are excited venture on this new musical path. Dave Bennett is appearing in association with the Jazz Club of Sarasota.

Countertenor Logan Tanner is praised for his “striking musicality, clarity, and strong coloratura” (Opera Canada) and has performed on operatic stages throughout the United States and abroad. Tanner’s concert repertoire spans a wide breadth of material. Recent performances include the role of Ruggiero in Handel’s Alcina. Logan Tanner is appearing in association with the Sarasota Orchestra.

Sisters Michelle and Kimberly Cann have been making music together since they were in elementary school. Both grew up playing multiple instruments — steel drums, bassoon, violin, trombone, and tuba, to name a few — but the piano was their first love. The Cann Sisters are appearing in association with the Artist Series Concerts of Sarasota and the Curtis Institute of Music.

Hot Club SRQ Trio brings the timeless spirit of Gypsy Jazz to life, deeply rooted in the tradition of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli. Their sound swings effortlessly, blending elegance, romance, and high-energy improvisation in the classic style of “Jazz Manouche” and “Le Jazz Hot,” inspired by the legendary Quintette du Hot Club de France.

Percussionist and conductor George Nickson is a trailblazer in contemporary music performance who is creating new works and new pathways for collaboration. Bringing together a breadth of experience from solo to chamber and orchestral music, George holds the Margie and William H. Seay Chair as Principal Percussionist of The Dallas Symphony Orchestra.
