by an illustrious panel of Sarasota music luminaries chaired by

Edward Alley is a conductor and music administrator. He was director of the renowned 7th Army Symphony in Europe, led 18 tours of the Goldovsky Opera Theater, was manager of the NY Philharmonic, and administered the Martha Baird Rockefeller Fund for Music. In Sarasota, he is President of the Board of Gloria Musicae, and has served as Chairman of the grants and policy committee of the TDC panel, responsible for distributing more than 1 million dollars annually to arts organizations in Sarasota County.
Daniel Jordan concertmaster of the Sarasota Orchestra and violinist in the Sarasota String Quartet, is also the assistant principal second violinist of the Santa Fe Opera orchestra. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music.
Joy McIntyre, a much sought-after voice teacher and music pedagogue, has had a major career singing opera in Europe and teaching in the U.S. She is currently the President of SILL and an active board member with the Sarasota Concert Association.
Richard Storm is known to all as Sarasota’s Renaissance man. He is a music critic for the Sarasota Herald Tribune, executive director of Key Chorale, baritone, freelance writer and marketing consultant.
