Edward Alley

Conductor and music administrator, Alley conducted the renowned 7th Army Symphony Orchestra in Europe and 18 tours of the Goldovsky Opera Theater. He was manager of the NY Philharmonic and administered the Martha Baird Rockefeller Fund for Music. He now serves on the boards of the Sarasota Opera and Gloria Musicae.

Daniel Jordan

Concertmaster of the Sarasota Orchestra and violinist in the Sarasota String Quartet since 1998, Jordan is also the assistant principal second violinist of the Santa Fe Opera orchestra. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music and plays a 1697 Rogeri violin, generously donated to the Sarasota Orchestra by Ernest and Alisa Kretzmer.

June LeBell

As chair of Sill’s Music Monday’s, LeBell - with the invaluable assistance of her Advisory Board - books the speakers and guest artists for every lecture on this series. She was the first full-time female staff announcer on a major commercial classical music radio station and worked at WQXR for 30 years. She is a professional singer, published author and popular lecturer with a long-running series at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. She serves on numerous boards and advisory boards from the Marilyn Horne Foundation to the Sarasota Concert Association and Gloria Musicae, where she is executive director.

Joy McIntyre

A much sought-after voice teacher and music pedagogue, McIntyre had a major career singing opera in Europe and teaching in the United States. She is an active board member of SILL and the Sarasota Concert Association.

Richard Storm

Known to all as Sarasota’s Renaissance man, Storm is a music critic for the Sarasota Herald Tribune, executive director of the Key Chorale, baritone and freelance writer and marketing consultant.
