Puerto Rican baritone and Operalia 2021 Semifinalist Ricardo José Rivera was a member of the Ryan Opera Center Ensemble at the Lyric Opera of Chicago throughout the years 2018-2021. Current engagements include performances of Poliuto with Teatro Nuovo where he will sing the role of Severo, performances of Luisa Miller with Sarasota Opera where he will sing the role of Miller, and Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia with San Jose Opera.

A native of the Dominican Republic, soprano Carmenchú Domínguez made a successful debut in 2013, singing the title role in Puccini's Suor Angelica with Teatro de la Opera of Puerto Rico. Her contributions to the Arts and the health sector have earned her multiple recognitions from the Dominican government. Ms. Dominguez holds both a Master and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance degree from Puerto Rico's Conservatory of Music, where she was very active as a soloist and graduated with highest distinctions. She also holds a Medical Doctor degree and recently completed graduate studies in Non-Profit Management, as part of her interest in developing platforms for the promotion of the Arts in the Caribbean and Latin America.
