Dr. Christopher Gibbons is the Founder and CEO of The Greystone Group, a digital health innovation and healthcare transformation firm he started 15 years ago with colleagues from Johns Hopkins University. Greystone helps clients anticipate the future and develop innovative solutions to improve health outcomes. He is also a visiting Professor at Duke University School of Medicine. Previously Dr. Gibbons was an Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins Schools of Medicine and Bloomberg School of Public Health. He was an Associate Director of the Johns Hopkins Urban Health Institute and also the Chief Health Innovation Advisor at the Federal Communications Commission’s Connect2Health Task Force. Dr. Gibbons now also serves as an advisor to organizations working in the Caribbean and Africa in the areas of digital health governance, biomedical technology, public health response evaluation and improvement, healthcare infrastructure planning, development and modernization. Dr. Gibbons attended medical school at the University of Alabama. He then trained in Preventive Medicine, General Surgery and molecular neuro-oncology basic science at Johns Hopkins before completing a federal health policy fellowship at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) & the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)
